A great activity for a
group of friends,
indoor skydiving offers
all the thrills of the real thing without
the fear of falling to your death. The
simulation is created using a DC-3 propeller
at the base of a 22-foot-high and
12-foot-wide padded tunnel. The propeller
generates winds up to 120 mph, lifting
divers into the air and recreating the
feeling of flying through the sky. |

In order to tunnel-dive,
a little preparation is required; all
participants must attend a brief class on
indoor skydiving and watch a short video on
flight technique, hand signals, and proper
body positioning. Divers are then dressed in
a specialized flight suit with earplugs,
goggles, and a helmet. Then it’s all blue
skies – or blue wind tunnel – from there;
the instructor guides participants into the
tunnel and continues to provide hands-on
assistance. Participants will float, they’ll
fall, and they’ll maybe even squeeze in a
few somersaults and tricks in this fun and
exciting activity that you and your friends
will be talking about for months. |

certainly isn’t the most inexpensive thing
to do in Las Vegas, it’s a
once-in-a-lifetime experience you’ll always
